Thesis
Two diploma projects, two voices—united by the same intent: longevity, precision and clarity in material and function. James develops a coffee table with a light, rotating extra feature. Angi explores modular sound-absorbing panels made from bio-based materials.

James Good
Le Carrousel
To develop a coffee table with an integrated function. The build is limited to a maximum of two to three materials to emphasise the object’s longevity. A new idea for the additional function should give the table uniqueness and strong recognisability.
Clear lines across the planes read as grounded, stable and robust; in contrast, a finely detailed rotating carousel lends the table lightness and elegance.

Angela Rodas
Silence by Myzel
This project aims to develop a product that addresses two issues that matter to me today: the use of plastics and noise in commercial systems and private spaces.
My diploma focused on a modular system of acoustic panels for use on walls, ceilings and/or as room dividers.
Together with Mycrobez AG, we are testing the material’s absorption properties to refine performance—composition, coatings, surface finishes, combinations with other natural materials and even the spacing between layers.
